Digital Photographs (maximum output size 20" x 30")

High quality photographs from digital captures or scans using laser light technology to 'paint' the image onto sensitised Kodak paper. The images are processed through traditional chemistry, thereby retaining the characteristics of a genuine photograph. Both lustre and glossy surface finishes are available.

Images should be cropped to the final physical output size, corrected as required and saved in an appropriately entitled folder relating to the print size. Please create a separate folder for each print size. Non standard size images should be placed on a standard size print canvas. Please also save B&W files in a separate folder. Images should be saved as highest quality jpegs or tiffs at 254dpi. When multiple copies are required please append the file name using 'cpy' followed by 3 digits, eg if 5 copies are required the file name should read as follows: yourfilenamecpy005.jpg

For optimum results, you need to be using a calibrated monitor set to 6500K and using our unique profile when making adjustments. On-screen calibration devices such as those made by Monaco Systems or Pantone are highly recommended. Please do not hesitate to contact us for additional information.

Substantial discounts are available to professional photographers based upon volume.

Hi

Printing to Canvas

Traditional canvas bonding is available for all sizes up to 20" x 30", but for larger sizes we print directly on to a high quality fine weave canvas using an Epson 9800 printer. The canvas is then heatsealed to make it more durable and provide protection against UV fading. It is finally assembled on to high quality artist's stretchers complete with wedges and finished ready for hanging.

For prices please see Mounting & Special Finishes

Metallic Prints (maximum output size 20" x 30")

For greater impact and vibrancy, metallic prints are a worthy contender for both social and commercial photographers.

Printed on Kodak Endura paper and processed through standard RA4 chemistry, our metallic prints are as durable as our standard digital photographs. The metallic finish works just as well on colour, sepia and black and white images, with the whites taking on a pleasing pearlised look. Metallic prints are available in gloss surface only and are priced at 50% extra to our usual prices for digital photographs. A minimum order value of £20 is applied.

If you would like to receive a free sample, please email davids@sclimage.net or call us on 020 8807 0725.

Flat Artwork Conversions

From silk surface photographs that can’t be successfully scanned to large paintings, we can provide an accurate digital copy for archival purposes or further production. If the artworks are valuable the onus is on the client to arrange adequate insurance. Where possible, any frames and glass should be removed.

Digitally captured flat artwork conversions are available in two file sizes; single shot at approximately 35MB and 16 shot at approximately 64MB. The file sizes indicated assumes that the artwork fills the length and width of the sensor. Files are supplied as RGB TIFFs at 300dpi.

Hi

Retouching

We have the expertise to undertake the most complex of retouching tasks and are happy to provide a quotation upon presentation of the original image and the work required. Equally, we are just as happy to take on more straight forward retouching or provide accurate pen drawn clipping paths.
